Rourkela: A Class VII student of a private English medium school was found hanging in the hostel under mysterious circumstances on Monday.
District welfare officer (DWO), Sundargarh, and project administrator, integrated tribal development agency (ITDA), Panposh, have launched a joint probe into death of the minor and will submit a report to the district collector and the government.TNN

Elderly couple found dead under mysterious circumstances
An elderly couple residing in a rental housing scheme in Manpada, Thane, were found dead under mysterious circumstances. The deceased, identified as Shamsher Singh, 68, and his wife Mina Singh, 65, were residents of the rental housing scheme of MMRDA. The bodies were found in their apartment, with their tongues twisted between their teeth. The Chitalsar police station has registered a murder case, and the bodies have been sent for autopsy. The investigation is ongoing.
