Nagpur: Congress has appointed coordinators for Lok Sabha constituencies in Maharashtra, with many from Nagpur also figuring in the list. Leader of opposition Vijay Wadettiwar has been made coordinator for Nanded, while MLA Nitin Raut has been given charge of Wardha.
MLC Abhijeet Wanjarri has been given charge of Gadchiroli-Chimur constituency.
Former Dhamangaon Rly (Amravati) MLA Prof Virendra Jagtap is the Nagpur Lok Sabha seat’s coordinator.Another Amravati man, Sunil Deshmukh has been given charge for Ramtek constituency which is reserved for SC candidates.
Among former legislators, senior leader Satish Chaturvedi has been given charge of Chandrapur, which was the only Lok Sabha seat which Congress won in 2019.
