Disney Dreamlight Valley: Ancient Ruins Puzzle Guide

After completing all of the individual characters’ quests, head back to the Ancient Ruins and speak with each one. They will then disperse to their specified areas of the ruins to prepare for their part in the puzzle.

Speak to EVE in the North chamber first, then use your pickaxe to break open the rubble throughout the ruins until you obtain three Ancient Power Coils. Insert one into each of the slots in the room with EVE. Next, step on the pressure plate across from EVE to power up the ruins.

Go talk to Gaston in the West chamber to have him upgrade your pickaxe. This will let you remove larger rubble inside the ruins, so go ahead and clear out the entire chamber, then speak to Gaston again. Now place Shiny Lefaou one pressure plate before standing on the other one yourself.

Next, speak to Rapunzel in the East chamber. She’ll ask you to find some clues about the melody. Go ahead and clear away all of the rubble to the left of Rapunzel, then pick up the sheet of paper there for a memory page showing you the melody.

Interact with the musical notes and arrange them like so:

• Left note: Align the bottom of the note with the first line
• Middle note: Align the bottom of the note between the second and third lines
• Right note: Align the bottom of the note with the second line

Stand on the pressure plate to the left of the notes, then speak to Rapunzel. You can finally go stand on the fourth pressure plate in the central room to open a door leading down… At which point you’ll meet a new friend.
