Amazon, the world s most customer centric company, is looking for a Leadership Development Program Manager to join the Alexa Data Services (ADS) team .
The Alexa Data Services (ADS) team is part of the Alexa Machine Learning organization which provides speech recognition capabilities for a variety of Amazon products and searches, most visibly, the Amazon Echo product.
The ADS team is looking for an innovative leadership development expert to be responsible for designing, building, and managing global delivery of learning and development solutions that build the management and leadership capability of ADS employees.
This person will collaborate with HR business partners and Operations leaders to create and execute on a strategy to develop effective managers, employees and future leaders for ADS.
There will be the opportunity to own leadership learning solutions from end-to-end, including measuring impact.
The person will have a hands-on role managing program details, improving processes and engaging stakeholders, while also learning from customer feedback to improve the learning experience.
In this role the person will have an opportunity to help create, evolve, and grow mechanisms and programs to that address our employees development needs at a scale that is unmatched.
Proficiency with data gathering, analysis, and presentation of insights is critical. Additionally, this role requires continuous inspection of program effectiveness and identification of opportunities to simplify, scale, and drive impact.
Key areas of responsibility:
End-to-end management and instructional design of leadership development solutions using a variety of modalities.
Facilitate learning solutions in either a physical classroom or virtual setting.
Serve as a role model for excellent instructional facilitation and develop those capabilities in others.
Assess learners needs, help design scalable learning solutions, ensure effective delivery of solutions, and continuously improve to address the talent needs of the ADS business.
Collaborate with HR business partners, senior Operations business leaders and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment of solutions with in-business needs and constraints.
Bachelor s degree in Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field
10+ years progressive professional experience delivering high-profile leadership development programs across multiple geographies
5+ years’ proven project management skills including planning work, prioritizing and managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, using time well, and delivering results with tight deadlines
Experience and credibility as a high performing people manager
Experienced facilitator and coach
