KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The key priorities for the role will be to:
Lead engineering and delivery of a new financial transaction platform to manage global card authorizations and routing, ATM transaction for the network initiative and drive transformation to create a next generation payment network for AmEx.

15+ plus years in leading engineering teams in a B2B enterprise software / product organization, or related technology segment.
Strong technical foundation
Brings a high degree of engineering depth in both software engineering and systems design.Brings a first principles approach to engineering not content to adapt existing technologies or constructs, this engineer will be known as a leader who deconstructs problems and solves complex design challenges by starting from scratch.
Brings large-scale technology delivery and formal management in a complex environment such as large scale software product engineering experience with contemporary tools and delivery methods in a complex environment (i.e. DevOps, CD/CI, Agile, etc.)
Team management
Experience leading engineering teams in excess of 50+ team members.
