The Application Support Engineers role is to support web application users. This includes troubleshooting web applications for all external and internal customers, such as employees, agents, partners, operations and OEM customers. The Application Support is also responsible for creating login, editing login information, updating websites with requested information and uploading documents for employees. Should provide necessary instructions to users on how to login and use the web application.

Roles and responsibilities:
Handle incoming ticketsfrom end users and analyze to resolve web related issues. Documentall pertinent end user identification information, including name, department, contact information, and nature of problem or issue. Prioritize, schedule, and escalate all instances where enhancements and defect resolution are required. Record, track, and document the problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to final resolution. Evaluate documented resolutions and analyze trends for ways to prevent repeated future problems. Communicate application problems and issues to development teams, end users, and team lead / Manager. Verify fixes and notify userswhen the issue is resolved. Learn appropriate software applications used and supported by the organization. Coordinate with team lead / Manager to assess any application training needs and objectives. Apply diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting. Manage and/or provide guidance to other members of the team. Skills and Specifications Should have handled US / UK customer support for at least one year. Ability to work on HTML and write SQL for querying the database Ability to conduct research on software-related issues and products. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong written and oral communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
