*Position Purpose & Summary
Serve 30-40 Dairy Farms of >10 milking cows. Consult on farm management practices to help farmer set, measure and achieve goals. Achieve the Territory or Area Sales Targets.
Principal Accountabilities
Makes a weekly/ monthly plan to visit current and prospect farmers- follow in accordance to the plan made and assignments given by ASM.60%
Go out to each farmer (current & prospect)- maintain the relation with the farm to provide service such as:
– Observing rationing at the farm to check the diets provided by Cargill are implemented or not.
– Convince the farmer to implement diet plans given by Cargill for best results
– Observe milking at each farm to finalize the diet required suiting the farmers need in consultation with the technical team
– Check animal health and guide each and every farmer on how to increase farm management.
Maintain a strong prospect pipeline and monitor and record the relationships progress. Preform all tasks in a safe manner. Practice safe bio-security measures when visiting farms.20%
Learn and use processes and principles outlined in GreenBook and Cargill Guiding Principles. 15%
Attend trainings to attain a high level of knowledge on farm management (CowSignals), the Cargill sales process (Sales Effectiveness), the product portfolio, and dairy cow nutrition. 5%, Required Qualifications
Graduate
2 plus years sales experience Industry/technical knowledge
People management and ability to build trust quickly with farmers
Preferred Qualifications
Diploma in Veterinary Sciences
Local language & local geographical experience

Day trave to the local territory
Role requires to work beyond business hours especially in the early mornings and late evenings
Driving License and Two-Wheeler mandatory
