Job Description
Job Summary :
The Technical Lead takes additional leadership responsibilities within a project. In addition to the general responsibilities and skills, these are the specific requirements for this job:
Responsibility for detailed technical design at a solution level.
Estimating technical effort, work breakdown structure, risks and solutions at a solution level.
Responsibility for delivery of overall technical solution to schedule and time.
Coaching and mentoring Application Engineers and Senior Application Engineers assigned to the project.
Working with one or more Senior Application Engineers and Application Engineers on the project and working with the Project Manager to ensure a quality delivery to time, scope and budget.
Greater awareness of Project management, Business analysis and software testing disciplines.
Greater awareness of specific business domains.
Monitoring adherence to development methodologies, tools, key performance indicators (KPIs).
Driving increase in software component reuse, platforms and environment consolidation and championing the goal of reducing overall IT costs.
Stakeholder management with key customers ensuring that there is business confidence in the solution being delivered.
