What your background looks like
At least 1 year of software development experience in production environment
A degree in computer science or a similar field, or additional relevant work experience (recent grads encouraged to apply)
Exceptional programming skills in Java
Comfortable with open source ecosystem
Proficient with web services development using REST/JSON interfaces
Comfortable with agile software development methodologies: Scrum, unit testing, code reviews, etc.
Additional Preferred Experience (not required but nice to have.)
Working knowledge of relational databases
Experience developing Dropwizard or Spring Boot services
Familiarity with CI/CD build automation
Familiarity creating and using Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift
Experience working with remote teams
Hands-on experience with Cassandra is highly desirable
Experience working with Cloud environments and technologies (AWS preferred)
