Education: BE Electrical.
Experience:
The candidate should have Min 10 years of relevant experience on the shop floor handling Production.
Should have Technical knowledge: In Electrical Switchgear of Low Voltage such as:ACBs, MCCBs, Contactors, SDFs, Drives, Soft Starters, Capacitors, DG Sync controls etc.
Job Profile:
Leading Production team onto targets set in collaboration with Design, Planning, and Sales teams.
The process involves CNC Fabrication, Powder Coating, Shell Assembly, Bus Bar Work, Wiring, Testing, Packing and Despatch. The execution flow at each stage should be monitored, debottlenecked and enabled.
Coordination with QC Dept has to be done at each stage with responsibility, allowing for NC point noting with clarity and learning.
Internal Inspection, Customer Inspection & site coordination & commissioning assistance to be provided appropriately in a collaborative and Customer focussed manner.
Measuring the performance against agreed targets of each reportee top down with the HR Dept and ensuring alignment is an important responsibility too.
Identifying training needs and enabling the same of every team of workmen as well as Supervisors.
Ensuring proper understanding of theproduction work clarity, targets etc amongst work force & empowering recognition, competition & inspiration.
To hold monthly shop floor meetings to report overall progress of the Company, address grievances and recognise good work done.
Rethink Production Processes from time to time, ensure right approach and resources availability to implement execution effectively.
While checking these processes effort to be directed to improve same with IT tools such as MS Projects, Supply Chain softwares or with an ERP.
