Software Developer Full Time
*Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience., Software Engineer Cloud Infrastructure Networking Team
Oracle s Cloud Infrastructure team is building new Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) technologies that operate at high scale in a broadly distributed multi-tenant cloud environment. Our customers run their businesses on our cloud, and our mission is to provide them with best in class compute, storage, networking, database, and security.
OCI Development – Networking team builds and runs services like Virtual Cloud Network, Load Balancer and Gateway.As a software developer you will contribute to the development of a networking service and/or automation of deployment and monitoring of those services.You would be a part of a global team which is building complex distributed systems that interact with end users at one end and network infrastructure at the other.
Prior experience with Networking or Embedded Software development is a plus. You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn. Your excellent judgment and strong communication skills will be invaluable.
Qualifications
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Hardware Engineering or related field
1+ years of experience in embedded software or applications development
Expert skills with at least one high level languages such as Java, C#, or C/C++,
Experience with at least one scripting language such as shell, python, ruby or perl
Experience with concurrent programming
Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
