Job Description
1. Conduct activities that help children recapitulate what they learn at school.
2. Implementing and planning age- appropriate learning and socialization to ensure
children learn basic skills and concepts, such as communication, manners, sharing, etc.
3. Assessing the activities performed by children and maintaining the record of their development.
4. Administering first aid when necessary.
5. Comforts children who are homesick or upset.
6. Instilling daily routine as per the facility guidelines in children and making them familiar with facility rules and regulations.
7. Maintaining a safe environment for good health, behavior, and emotional issues of
Children and reporting concerns to management and parents.
8. Helping children discover new interests by introducing them to art, music, sports, and other potential hobbies.
9. Ensuring children are learning positive behaviors and providing guidance or approved discipline, as needed.
10. Communicating with parents in the event of an emergency, solving their inquiry, and reporting daily proceeding of the center.
11. Addressing and resolving disputes among children.
12. Keeping records relating to child care.
13. Working with parents to help children progress towards educational and behavioral goals.
14. Make daily observations of the health of children, reporting conditions which require attention.
15. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, conferences, workshops and other career development and professional activities.
16. Assure that equipment and materials are accessible, appropriate and in good condition.
17. Perform classroom related and other maintenance duties as requested.
18. Maintain a pleasant, comfortable atmosphere at the facility for children.,
