Product Developer
Scope: History / Civics / Geography / Economics, 5th to 10th grade
Location: Mumbai . The person is a subject expert and thus will be a key member of product/content development team. He/she would be developing, managing and delivering the content for students of all class from 5th to 10th std and the related competitive examinations. The aim would be to deliver high quality lessons and self-learning materials in various formats such as video lectures, concept notes, assessments, tests & practice questions etc. He/she will play a key role in making learning pedagogy, bringing innovation & creativity in approach to make learning and teaching simple. He/she is expected to be understand students behaviour, draw the conclusions based on data and should be able to act accordingly. He/she should understand the business requirement and design/manage projects in collaboration with other key person and stakeholder.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creating high quality and engaging learning materials for class 5-10th std and related competitive examinations
Design and manage efficient process for content development and review. Track progress and take appropriate action as needed.
Coordinate with team and manage the roadmap for content development
Manage freelancers – on-boarding, task allocation, review and their payment cycle
Responsible for bringing innovation & creativity in approach to make learning & teaching simple and effective
Define metrics and analyze data to measure engagement levels and performance of students on the content
Use various channels to collect feedback from students, – identify gap and come up with ways to improve it
Act as a mentor to other team members
SKILL/QUALIFICATION:
PhD/Masters/Bachelors degree with strong subject knowledge
Pedagogy expert – can explain complex concepts in simple ways
Excellent in verbal and written communication
Ability to work within tight deadlines
Ability to lead a team
A minimum of two years of experience in the relevant sector is a must
