As a Senior Technical Writer, you are responsible for writing content for fairly complex products and generating error-free documents. You should be experienced in documentation life cycle and process. You should be able to work with SMEs to understand the scope, requirements, functional specs and other technical documents. You should be able to conducts advanced research and gathers inputs. You should be able to write an outline for new documents and design the information flow. You should define project quality and metric norms. You should be able to guide team members in information gathering. You should perform self-reviews, peer-reviews, and have the ability to edit documents outside the immediate domain. You should be able to handle knowledge management .
Mandatory Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of DITA and working Knowledge of XML authoring tools
Working Knowledge of content management systems
Adobe PhotoShop / Illustrator
HTML & CSS
UX (user experience)
SEO (search engine optimization), marketing and social media
OpenSource Documentation Knowledge
MS Office
