Prayagraj: There was much awaited relief from biting cold following a recent rainy spell when the sun shone bright here on Sunday. Mild breeze accompanied by sunshine made for a pleasant day after a chilly morning and locals stepped out to visit streets, markets and parks across the city.
Mutthiganj resident Ravi Kumar said, “After a long time, we took a nap under the sun, while children enjoyed playing outdoor.Though it was chilly in the early morning hours, bright sun in the afternoon made the day pleasant enough to visit the Magh mela campus as we hoped for thin or no fog in the evening.”
At the CSA park in Colonelganj area, children accompanied by parents enjoyed the day. “Since it was Sunday, we decided to take our children to the park and spend some time here,” said Poonam, resident of Rajapur. The city streets were crowded with denizens out to soak in the warm sunshine.
